Soft Skills

It takes more than technical know-how to get things done effectively.

  • Ability to lead a team of software developers with a diverse array of skills and experience, coordinating efforts to most effectively deliver software and enhancements on schedule.
  • Two years of leadership training at Dayton Superior Corporation (I have a fancy plaque to prove it!)
  • Full lifecycle web development, including gathering requirements, prototyping, and change management of web-based applications
  • User experience design, including business logic and database design
  • Can quickly learn new software languages/standards as needed
  • Strong communication skills including translation of user requests, troubleshooting, and user training
  • A self-deprecating sense of humor (If you count that as a skill? I do)
